Jonathan Atkeson

Jon Atkeson is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of ITE Management with over three decades of experience overseeing investments and operational strategy in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. He spent more than 20 years at Fortress Investment Group, most recently as a Managing Director, where he helped build and manage a diversified portfolio in the sector. Jon also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Investors LLC (FTAI), experience that aligns directly with ITE’s strategy of owning, operating, and optimizing real asset platforms.

Prior to his role at FTAI, he led investments in aircraft, shipping containers, intermodal chassis, and energy distribution. Earlier in his career, Jon was a vice president in the private equity group at Whitney & Co., LLC, and before that, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at Credit Suisse First Boston.
